INTERSECT 2019 in the Books
by
One hundred guests from the U.S., South America, U.K., Europe, Australia and New Zealand converged on Baltimore for three days of networking and learning.
It was a busy conference with attendees arriving on a Sunday afternoon. Several clients participated in the Workspace Workshop in the afternoon and many more joined us for the welcome reception that evening.
Monday and Tuesday’s main sessions showcased presentations by more than 20 speakers, including clients, partners and RouteSmart staffers. Clients brought their unique perspectives and highlighted the successes they have had using RouteSmart.
Technology partners showed off new solutions and highlighted their integration with RouteSmart products. Esri, HERE and others talked of coming innovations and the ways they would improve the lives of RouteSmart users. RouteSmart’s Global Sales & Support partners also joined and presented case studies and best practices from the U.K., Australia and more.
The Industry Roundtables gave attendees time to network with others within their industry and focus on aspects of route optimization specific to their needs. Over the course of three hours on Tuesday afternoon, clients in the Newspaper, Postal-Local Delivery, Public Works and Utilities sat down and talked about their concerns and successes with each other and had one-on-one time with RouteSmart staff and technology partners who were experts in their fields.
Of course, there was some time for relaxation and camaraderie. The Client Appreciation Dinner Monday night was fun for all. Attendees headed over to the new Rye Street Tavern on the Baltimore Harbor to partake in the traditional crab feast.
If you missed this one, don’t be left out next time! We are putting the schedule together and preparing for the next Intersect – tentatively scheduled for Spring 2021 in Orlando, Florida.
